Our July sales (infographic)

We continue the tradition of publishing some of the figures from Tucano Coffee’s activity, today for the month of July, current year. As usual, we had a hot weather and a lot of cold drinks were consumed. The leader was, of course, Cold Brew Tonic which was sold in a number of 2.200 pieces within all the chain.

In august we launched a new cold product – Motueka Coffee. We dedicated this beverage to a small region in New Zealand – Motueka, where the black currant is grown with a lot of love and care, where there are a lot of green fields and hills and where the culture of maori blossoms. We invite you to taste it, because we invested a lot of inventiveness, audacity and work in this recipe.

And below you can see how the things went in July. You can see obviously, that the number of active #tucanofriends decreases. This dynamic is due to 2 facts: we had some system errors in Republic of Moldova, which, temporarily, didn’t allow the use of the cards, but more important than this, in the last months we didn’t develop the actual loyalty program, because we are in a period of transition to another soft, where we will manage the program and which will change it’s mechanic.
We intend to give it a new life in autumn.

However, as for a business the most important indicators are the current sales vs. the sales from the last year, and we are happy to see a growth of almost 14% comparing to July 2016. This happens grace to the coffee shops from Romania, which, altogether, registered a growth of almost 27%. In the top is the Tucano Coffee Peru (Brașov), Tucano Coffee Madagascar (București, AFI Park), Tucano Coffee Guatemala (București, Calea Dorobanților st.). Congratulations to the teams!

New challenges are awaiting us in September, the opening of the coffee shops in Saint Petersburg, Bishkek and Barnaul are close 😉

Note: The “Like for like” indicator shows our sales evolution in existing coffee shops in both 2017 and 2016 year. It is a comparison of the same locations. Respectively, these statistics do not include coffee shops opened in 2017, because there is no reference point for them in 2016.
