Guatemala San Marcos is the new type of coffee beans launched in limited edition by Tucano 
Coffee, originally from the Ethiopia region in the Gori Geisha forest. The high quality and variety of taste of this coffee gives it the uniqueness among all types of coffee sold.
Geisha coffee became popular in 2004 and is grown on the “Hacienda La Esmeralda” farm. The owners of the farm presented the Geisha coffee to the jury in the “Best of Panama” competition where they won first place and thus Geisha became known throughout the world.
The Petersen family, owners of the “Hacienda La Esmeralda” farm, were the first to try to grow a pure coffee bean crop and not combine it with other varieties.
Regardless of the unmistakable taste, connoisseurs appreciate Geisha coffee with a score of 90 points according to the SCA scale. In the Guatemala San Marcos cup you will find notes of strawberry, apricot, tangerine, mango and pineapple.
